My artistic practice and research are focused on analysing the evolution of photography from the materiality of silver gelatin to the virtuality of 3D techniques. The history of photography could be considered a metaphor to understand how the economy has evolved since the industrial revolution until the present. I’m interested in how technological progress has modified the appearance of nature and the devasting impact it has had on our ecosystem. Currently, I’m undertaking a PhD in Contemporary Art at the University of Girona.
